Ellie Owens is the debut author of Cave Jumpers and a hopeless romantic. She received her MFA in Creative Writing for Children and Young Adults at the New School in Manhattan, where she developed a penchant for writing about messy characters who make questionable choices. Afterwards, she worked as a Social Media Manager and Buyer at Books of Wonder, which is how she managed to turn her book-buying habit into a profession. When not writing, Ellie can be found talking to the birds and wondering why they're not talking back.
